Mombasa Diani House

Situated south of Mombasa on Diani Beach, Diani House is one of the oldest houses on Kenya’s coast and still retains its original character and charm.

The house has a large central living room and a spacious front veranda and accommodation is for up to twelve guests in four ensuite rooms and a two bedroom family cottage.  The house is set in 12 acres of forested garden and each bedroom has its own veranda and direct access to the garden and beach.

The garden is a haven for small animals including sykes, vervet and the rare colobus angolensis monkeys; baboons; the tiny suni antelope; bush babies, monitor lizards and many types of birds.

The Turtle Room

Food is a special feature of a stay at Diani House with the emphasis on seafood and fresh local produce.  Meals are usually taken 'al fresco' on the veranda or in the garden and guests can even order private romantic meals on their own verandas.
