Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is the second largest freshwater lake in Kenya and it is the highest of the Rift Valley Lakes at an altitude of 1880m.

The dense vegetation on the edge of the lake supports a thriving bird population, whilst the waters of the lake draw a great range of game to the shores. Giraffe, buffalo, colobus monkeys and hippos are all to be found in this region. This is an ideal area for hiking, biking, rock climbing and bird-watching.

Mount Longonot stands over the shores of Lake Naivasha and this massive dormant volcano dominates the landscape for miles around.
